Goddamnit you little shit. You annoy the hell out of me.
You think you know your Gundam, but you don't know anything. The only reason Gundam Unicorn could be awesome is because its foundations are so strong. I'd rather watch the well established Mobile Suit Gundam of 3 decades ago rather than taking a gamble now and watching a new outing.
I've learned my lesson with Macross Frontier. Dragging myself through 25 episodes of moe hellspawn or watching Macross: Do You Remember Love?, the choice is easy enough. It's like choosing between having a healthy, grownup grandchild you can be proud of, or some sort of disgusting pile of sentient vomit that should've been aborted. SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABORTED GODDAMNIT. I told your mother time and time again to take that coathanger and end you while she had the chance. But would she listen? No, she wouldn't listen to her own bloody mother. Kids these days... No respect for their elders.
Speaking of abortions, the spring season is going to be one big fiasco. K-ON season 2 is a stillborn moe baby and Kiss x Sis is a moaning, breathing moe afterbirth.
I've also watched Summer Wars recently. What a complete waste of time! You know, I was laughing when they were making crappy videogames based on hollywood movies, but now they're making crappy movies based on even more shitty videogames? It's becoming a bit painful to watch at this point. Summer Wars is basically Habbo Hotel the movie.
To top it all off, when the when the movie changes its focus and is not about digital bullshit, it's about Koi Koi, some sort of incomprehensible game of cards. It's original, yes. But that doesn't mean it's any good!
Good anime series just aren't made anymore, and it's mostly the Satanistic moe worshippers that are to blame. Back in the good old days, we used to like substance and depth in our anime series. Anime creators were passionate and gifted. Nowadays everyone's just looking for something that will rot away their brain the fastest, and the anime studios are looking for a quick buck. Times sure have changed...

Times have changed, and that's why you should shut the hell up about the past. Moe shows are only there because there's a demand for it, an audience that loves gobbling it up.
Yes, maybe they don't make shows like they used to anymore, but that's only because the medium has evolved over time. Even now, all kinds of anime directors are experimenting in a multitude of inspiring ways. There's still plenty of hobbyism and passion among anime creators. Makoto Shinkai created Voices of a Distant Star all on his own, for crying out loud.
Besides, spring season won't be so bad. Big Windup season 2 and Gundam Unicorn are enough to make me excited. Additionally, we'll get a Nodame Cantabile OAV.
I'm very optimistic about where anime is headed, and I don't see why you need to be such a sour twat about it. Yeah, they may not make the kind of shows you're used to anymore, but there's a whole world of different things to explore now. As anime becomes more and more mainstream, its contents will undoubtedly diversify more and more. More difersification can only mean that even more viewers end up satisfied. Try to be open and grow with the medium.
If you can't do that, then take solace in what you do like and dust off your old anime collection.
It's as if you can only look back. The older you get and the more you experience, the more you keep looking back. There's nothing wrong with that, but just remember that there's a new anime watching generation, a generation that's looking forward. You might not agree with their visions of the future. In the end, they're behind the wheel and you're looking through the back window. Someone who is constantly looking in the rear view mirror cannot possibly control the vehicle.

Oh wow, look at that fruity Freddy! Those were the days.
Hm, did you say anything? Sorry, I wasn't paying attention, I was looking at this photo of Freddy Mercury.
Actually, this ties in perfectly with our conversation. I dare you to find me a similar picture of a modern day Freddy Mercury equivalent. On second thought, don't even bother, because there's nothing like it. Times have changed, and we're worse off because of it. We're spiralling into certain doom.
Oh Freddy Mercury, please save us!

Also, the blog seems kind of bipolar on your stance and I honestly can't make out which side you were leaning more towards. Since I think that is what you were going for, well done.
