Not only has some of the major casting been announced, but IGN also brings us word that the film has a tentative release date of August 15th, 2008. Fox is trying to get this out quickly, it sure seems. I guess they want to cap on all the hype around it at the moment. I mean, when God Len is going to buy tickets for everyone who reads Japanator, how can you not get it out as quickly as possible?

I'm looking forward to watching the film, despite CTZ being Mr. Negative McDrunkypants about the whole thing. Sure, it's likely to be bad, but why not enjoy yourself?
