It's been a while, but it looks like Son-Goku and his pals haven't missed a step. The Toriyama team returns on March 30th of next year with the new feature length film, Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods. The flick picks up 10 years after the events of the Majin-Bu Arc, and before the junk that went down in Dragon Ball GT. From the looks of the trailer, the kids have unfortunately not forgotten the whole Fusion technique.
I'm excited to see how the franchise picks back up. I enjoyed seeing the Dragon Ball Kai stuff updated, but I just couldn't get myself to sit through the whole story again. I'm hoping this film will truly be canon story, breaking the previous movie's traditions. Besides the first Brolly movie, I haven't been really into how inconsequential the enemies and stories have been in the past. I do admit, this cat looking dude isn't looking so epic to me yet.
That being said, you can be sure I'll be checking this movies out as soon as I can get my Toriyama loving mits on it!
