Dragon Quest VII's OST to be orchestrated

We reported earlier today that Dragon Quest VII is being remade for the Nintendo 3DS. Now we have a few more details to go along with the announcement.

A full blown 3D remake, DQVII will feature an orchestrated soundtrack performed by the Tokyo Metropolitan Orchestra. That's pretty damn awesome.

The remake is set to hit Japan on February 7 of next year, with a retail price of 6,090 Yen. The previous three Dragon Quest DS games all saw releases out west, so one can only hope that VII makes it over as well. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but it's worth noting that VII is a huge game with an absurd amount of text. Yes, the game was previously localized for the PSX, but the English in that version left a lot to be desired.

Keep your eyes peeled for more information as it hits.
