E3 2012: A Project Diva F demo gets discovered photo

I always love it when an event has a secret that people tend to miss out upon, and E3 happens to have one that is related to Hatsune Miku. The people at Joystiq came across a demo of Project Diva F at the Sony Booth that was labeled as Hatsune Miku

Seeing the demo there can only mean two things: either they have plans to announce a North American release for Project Diva F in the next few days, or they are having demos of imported games for people to try out in the event. In fact, it turns out that it was the latter (In accordance to Eddie Lehecka.). However, Sega might localize the game if they see a big demand from the fans.

In other news not related to E3, Sega has released pictures of the official packaging for Project Diva F, which looks absolutely gorgeous, and this is coming from someone who is not too big into vocaloids. Whether you are getting the regular copy or the special bundle that comes with the vita that shares the same name as former Japanator Editor Crystal White, you are getting a sweet deal in regards to the artwork and packaging. Both box arts are adorably well drawn, feature vibrant colors that go really well, and have graphic elements that suit the virtual diva. You will also get a protection film that has a beautifully drawn artwork of Miku on it and an AR card with the special bundle. If you don't believe me, then you can see for yourself in the gallery below.

Final Fantasy X/X2 HD looks real pretty

I'm genuinely impressed with the work Square Enix has been doing on its HD rereleases. I grabbed Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX the week it came out here in Japan, and was stunned by how great it looked on the PS3. Assets were ...

Dragon's Crown opening is filled with slow zooms

Vanillaware's upcoming Dragon's Crown is so close to release that I can taste it.  It tastes like a rare and delicious cheese. The opening to Dragon's Crown has hit the net, and it's full of slow zooms and booming ...

Go West! Week Forty-Nine: All the Shmups

Come one, come all! Welcome to the latest edition of Go West!, your [occasionally] weekly column about Japanese games that probably won't ever be released out west. This week? Uh... well, some games I guess.  In any case, let's make like a tree and get this party started!

Super Heroine Chronicle's 1st trailer is adorably dynamic

At first, I didn't know what to think of Super Heroine Chronicle, since my expectations were uncertain. Actually, I'm just being a ninny, because Super Heroine Chronicle is doing a fine job in taking notes from its SD giant ...

Super Heroine Chronicle announced for the PS3/Vita

Bandai Namco is going in hard on cross platform games these days. It seems to me like every new game they announce is releasing on both the PS3 and the Vita. I suppose after their success here in Japan with One Piece Pirate W...

Dragon's Crown trailer brings the cherubs

This new trailer for Dragon's Crown says a lot about the game's skill system, its four-player co-op, and your ability to collect scads of saucy artwork in-game, but my real takeaway is the scene showing a skeleton surro...

Freedom Wars might be the PS Vita's next killer app

I can't believe I let this thing slip under my radar last week, but now that I've seen it, I am pumped. It's called Freedom Wars, and it looks like it'll be trying for the position of lead substitute for Monster Hunter&...
