Hope everyone enjoyed part one yesterday, because I know I did. Mad props still go to "Weird" Sannin Jiraiya. I doubt he could have taken all the pictures himself, but we're all glad he held a "photo drive" for our entertainment.

Puerto Rico Comic-con and Pop Culture Expo, 2009. Our good buddy "Weird" Sannin Jiraiya sent us some great pictures from this year's festivities. There were too many photos for me, in good conscience, just load them all up into one post and just run away. So you get this today, and you'll get the other half tomorrow.

Last week was fun, and I think we'll just keep on "experimenting" if you know what I mean. Some issues and discrepancies real fast

1) The show will start at 10:00 EST exactly. There is a clock after the jump for us to sync off of
2) The liveblogging window will be open around 10 minutes before for anyone to jump in. You must send a message first, then have it approved by the host before you get unfettered access to comment. You do not need to register or log into anything to comment along with us.
3) To expand the show, we'll also watching a second episode from a reader requested show. This week is K-on! It will begin promptly at 10:30, based off the clock.

Welcome to the tail end our Eden of the East week long coverage. Our initial feedback has been a big success, but considering the source material, it wasn't very hard. I have hopes that tonights liveblog will turn out interesting to its live audience and everyone who reads it later. Who knows, if it works well it might be fun to try with other shows. Sengoku BASARA, for example, might be fun to have people... discuss the most recent episodes wild and over the top zaniness.

I'll just be frank and say I'm doing Redzie a favor. While there are plenty of reasons to check out Eden of the East, I apparently didn't do the genitals justice. That said, the picture doesn't really demonstrate the Hypno-penis (click the link!). In motion, there is just something... mesmerizing about it. While episode two was entirely too dong free, hit the jump as we point out some of the more hilarious moments.

Eden of the East, Production I.G's latest show, is by far my favorite of the season. To compare, Kaiba was probably the last show I was "this" excited to watch. To ensure that everyone is familar enough that I can discuss it, I've decided to blitz you with Eden of the East content.

Upside: Animu super cheap, with a number of mildly desirable titles for the classic collector (Irresponsible Captain Tylor) to the more modern connoisseur (Samurai Shamploo)
Downside: For some reason the shopping cart function seems to be a little zonky. Now tested across Mac's and PC's, it seems to have a weird bug where it occasionally doesn't save your items.

Not to be a pessimist, but the Hentai panel (I.E. Japanator's Porn-mas) was better last year. Last year was almost entirely improvisational, and supported but our audiences collaborative effort to see naked animated women.
