Everybody... okay, maybe not everybody, has to eventually figure out how to dispose of that stash of dirty books under the bed after they've outlived their usefulness. And, how to do that without your girlfriend or parents or the guy next door finding out that you're into some rather odd stuff.
A 47-year old man living in the city of Uda in Nara Prefecture, who works for the city of Nabari in Mie Prefecture, had some trouble figuring out what to do with his collection of 284 erotic books and 53 adult videos while cleaning his house out in March, so he decided to dump all of it in a rice field in town. Not a good idea, as he was arrested yesterday for illegal dumping and admitted his guilt to police.
If he had only followed the advice of the 2channelers and gave his collection to friends or just hid the books between regular magazines and thrown it out with the trash — now everybody knows his secret, and he'll probably be out of a job, too.
