Here's something that I missed: Back at the end of 2008, a Korean version of the yaoi title Antique Bakery came out. The film follows the plot of the manga almost exactly, just transposing the names to Korean. And so the film was a hit, drawing in over 1,000,000 people in its first two weeks.
I caught the video via Digital Manga's twitter this morning, and the note that it'll be at the New York Asian Film Festival. As the trailer says, it's a film about "four tasty men" -- what more reason do I need to see it? I'll let you just enjoy the pretty Korean boys, and I'll see you at the NYAFF screening of this, whenever it may be.
I hope it plays at the Montreal Fantasia Genre film festival too this summer! (http://www.fantasiafest.com/pre2009/)
I saw like 17 movies last year there... Korean movies were quite funny XD (My biggest hit is 200 Pounds Beauty. Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cj4ZGKanyJ4)
