The weird thing about hearing a second season for Darker Than Black is that it isn't that surprising. For one thing, there was the OVA and yet people really felt that there could have been more to the series. There was also the speculation from last year that already mentioned there was going to be a second season.

This announcement will be officially announced in the Square Enix Young Gangan magazine that comes out this Friday. From the leak we heard last year, it seems the original director will also be working on the second season. But the question is: what will the second season be about? I felt that certain things weren't explain clearly enough in the first season. I'm hoping we'll get to learn more about Hei because he still continues to be pretty mysterious.
