Most of the time, I like the rumors that are floating about the interwebs. One of the rumors that was going around was that Kamen Rider Decade (a show I have LOVED this year) would be cut short from a normal run to make way for a new Den-O series. Well, that's only partially true. Decade will be coming to end later on this summer to make way for a new series, only it's not Den-O, as that is only going to be a new series of movies. Instead, the new show is going to be Kamen Rider W. I'm kind of disappointed as I've really enjoyed Decade and would like to see it have a traditional 50-or-so episode run, but if W is any good, it can be forgiven.
There's no specifics about the show, but we do have production shots of the series in motion. You can check out the costume, which really reminds me of the Kikaider toku due to the half colors. If you look through, there's different colored tops, red with black, black with green, and red with silver. He's going to have different forms ala Den-O and Kiva, but I doubt we'll have much in the way of monster possession going by the looks of this. Also, I would like one of those bikes in my garage ASAP. Check out the gallery for all the shots, which also includes a wrecked car and random costume parts.
