Pretty cool, I'll admit. It's definitely a sight to behold, and it's given me all sorts of eerie feelings that I've always wondered about concerning how a real Gundam would stand out against a natural outdoor environment.

I especially like the pictures of it from a distance overlooking the trees and such - they make it seem as natural as seeing a cruise ship at a dock...

This is just too awesome. I'd want it to surprise everyone with other moving parts built in secret.

Now we just need a cosplayer of Amuro to sneak up there.

Pretty awesome. It's so real, it looks fake. It's unreal. Do you know what I mean? The sort of thing that just does not compute. Unbelievably cool. I didn't know about the motion and effects, just the lights.

And yeah, walking would be too hard and dangerous. They'd have to perfect it on a small scale first.

If it started walking, there could be 2 possibilities:

1) This Gundam 1:1 scale model will experience constant upgrades until it becomes fully operational in a military environment.

2) Mythbuster style "What happens when a giant robot falls?"

@Dan CiTi: Nah, all we need are space colonies 30 km across at the gravitationally neutral Lagrange points. Then we can start manufacturing Gundanium. By the time that's ready I'll have the Leo Prototype done (aka Tallgeese), and from there European Aristocrats will start buying mass production Leos en masse...

The rest will fall into place by itself :D
