Happy Day of the Ninja, the most holy and celebrated holiday here at Japanator during the month of December. In case you don’t know, the Day of the Ninja is the time of the year to dress, act, and kill like a ninja. Started back in 2003 by the people over at Ninja Burger as a way to sell more hamburgers and spread ninja commercialism. Despite its commercial birth, the Day of the Ninja grew to acquire more ninja party-goers due to people like Ask a Ninja, and others in the blogosphere.
Here are some great ways to celebrate this fantastic day: Watch Ninja Gaiden II’s newest trailer, or play one of the older games. Read my Top Ten about seriously sweet ninja (pre Japanator's time skip). Run across endless amounts of roofs and tree tops. Watch an episode of your favorite anime that features a ninja in any form (which pretty much means any anime). Assassinate your local shogunate. Perform water or fire jitsu. Dance the ninja dance. Or watch some of these ninja themed videos after the jump.
Ask a Ninja talks about the Day of the Ninja
Everybody likes Parkour, cause it's like ninjas (its gets better after the crazy shaky cam part, around 2 min in)
Watch the specials for the newest Naruto game for the Wii
A Ninja Gaiden speed run, a necessity on this special day
And coincidentally, the ninja comedy Ninin ga Shinobuden (a.k.a. "Ninja Nonsense") just sold out its entire limited edition run in less than 24 hours. (http://www.theotaku.com/news/view/ninja_nonsense_sells_out_in_24_hours/3220/)
Yeah, the problem is that the www and the non www don't seem to be talking to each other. Kitsune is logged in at the non-www, but as soon as you save the profile info, it goes to the www and saves the changes under my name.
Hanukkah also starts today i think. Greetings to the NinJews out there!
