The description of our panel:
"Japanator.com is site dedicated to not only the anime phenomenon, but also several other aspects of Japanese culture such as music, politics, and awkward events. The site has been featured on G4 as ell as on numerous, prominent websites. The Japanator crew is proud to make its appearance and chat it up with all attendees about what it takes to be a Japanese culture journalist, as well as share their experiences, work ethics, and ultimate otaku fandom."
The reality of our panel:
We showed ran, ran, ruuu… After ten awkward minutes of trying to explain what website is about, we resorted to just flat out showing what the website is like. Ran, ran, ruu, the Filipino prison dancers, and other such fun things. I thought this video would have been great, but the panel was at 10 AM and I didn't want to scare too many people with off topic hilarity. Dale rocked out the tech side, queuing up the videos, while Gia and I danced for the audiences delight.
We gave away some sexy dvd's, debated this week's otaku debate, and people asked me if I was wearing anything under my robe. Oh right, gia was wearing her Desu green outfit, and I was wearing just a hotel robe (with matching slippers.) More on that, with video later.
