This video came to us by way of the Destructoid tip line. I know they got the classic NES/Famicom RPG EarthBound/Mother reference, but I'm not too sure they understood the "Ran Ran Ruuuuu" roots behind this evil creation.
But you, dear Japanator reader, have seen enough RanRanRuu to almost be desensitized to it. Almost. So, you get it. This soul-eating ran-ran-remix of the theme of Mother's main antagonist, Gigyas, will bring back old memories of the terror you first felt when you watched your first Japanese McDonalds/otaku culture blend. I'm sorry. I'm just doing my job here.
It starts out in the typical fashion, but then devolves into something terrible. I was laughing wholeheartedly at first, but the face morphing changed my laugh into a nervous one. Now I'm currently typing this post under my desk. I just know that I'll be seeing twisting Ronald McDonald heads in my dreams tonight.
