It just doesn't stop! We continue on with some of the cosplay from Comiket 74, because I can see that you guys just love it. Unfortunately, no giant Akira babies today.

This time around, I'd like to point out the mass of Gurren Lagann cosplay, where we've got Kamina, Yoko, and Viral down below. There's also a bit of cosplay from various Gundam universes -- bonus points to whoever can name all of 'em, seeing as I sure as hell can't. Also, head accessories seem to be the "in-thing" right now. No matter how ridiculous they might look by themselves, the Japanese manage to pull it off with a little bit of dignity. Not much, mind you, but it's better than that of a homeless person.

One of the things that I've noticed is that, apart from the ultra-creepy anime face masks, Japanese cosplayers rarely go for anything that's shocking, humorous, or just downright wrong. Are we bastardizing the sacred art of cosplay, or do people at Western cons just know how to have fun? We report, you decide (in the comments).
