For those of you who just love the misadventures of Pico (Boku no Pico, Pico to Chico, and Pico x Chico x Coco), here's a cafe geared right at you: 80+1, based in Ikebukuro, is running a special event for a week (from December 1st to the 8th) to coincide with the release of the Maid Boy manga. The manga is about an orphan boy who has to work as a maid in order to make ends meet, and so the cafe will feature female employees dressing up as shota-tastic boys who are dressing up like girls in maid outfits.
In general, maid cafes have been flagging in terms of their sales, but I wonder how the breakdown is between those geared at men and those geared at women are doing. This is an official event, as they've already invited the author to come check out the cafe, and she was rather impressed, according to the article. So, I would figure that might help draw a slightly larger crowd.
It's certainly an...interesting prospect. I don't quite have access to the mindset of the fujoshi crowd, so I leave it up to you, Japanator readers. Would you go ahead and drop some money on these delectable girl-boy maids?

Wait, what?
Japan, I didn't think it was possible, but I think you have officially broken some logic circuit in my head...what you broke, I don't know, but I think something's broken...
No seriously, what sexual preference does this fall to?? I mean, it's not really shota since it's girls dressing as guys, and it's not maids since it's girls dressing as guys dressing as maids, so what IS it??
