Yesterday's winner was Niko, with Ghost in the Shell: SAC! God Len and I threw in some answers, but staff can't really enter the contest, so we just got to screw around. So Niko, please send your address to brad[at]japanator[dot]com, and I'll ship out today's, and the rest of the week's prizes, on Friday.
So now, onto the next round of the game. Here is an update and clarification to the rules. I'll name three categories, and you need to respond with an item that fits into each one. The catch is that you cannot match any segment of a prior response.
Sample question: "Name a member of the Gurren Brigade, a show that Bandai Entertainment has put out, and a Gundam series."
Valid response: "Kittan, Lucky Star, Gundam Wing."
Running with this example, if I responded with these three items, it means that no one else can use them from that point on. So, if two people mention the same thing, that segment of the later person's answer is nulled. So that's why we're selecting the winner by the 75th item named (yes, I change the number each day). So, when you post your three responses, that is ideally three out of the 75. But, peoples' answers can get cut down to less than three items, so it isn't guaranteed that the 25th commenter will get the prize.
Are you ready? Then head after the jump for today's three contest categories.
[Policy note: if you live outside the U.S., you're going to have to pay shipping. I don't make the rules, I just work here. -- DMV]
I'd like for you to give me: A show that Studio Pierrot has worked on, an episode of Cowboy Bebop, and a manga published by Tokyopop.
