Word comes from AnimeOnDVD about some of FUNi's latest Blu-Ray plans. In the insert for Shigurui on Blu-Ray, FUNimation lists several titles that they're planning on putting out. On the list are:

• Gunslinger Girl (no date specified)

• Basilisk (no date specified)

• Blue Gender TV/Movie set (April 14th)

• Tsubasa Season 1 (April 14th)

• Full Metal Panic: The Second Raid (no date specified)

• Trinity Blood (no date specified)

• Origin: Special Edition (no date specified)

Much like Gia, I'm terribly excited for Gunslinger Girl to be on Blu-Ray, not only because I can't wait to see the show's beautiful art in a higher resolution, as well as the show's soundtrack -- one of my personal favorites -- remastered into 5.1 surround sound. I'm curious to see if the rest of Full Metal Panic will get the Blu-Ray treatment as well, provided TSR sells well.

For me, Origin and Blue Gender are out of left field for me -- those are titles that I hadn't expected to pop up, but will definitely take the opportunity to see them on Blu-Ray once they come out. How about for the rest of you? Anything on this list got you excited?
