Now I’ve lost it, I know I can read, the truth exists in the next issue of Square Enix’s Young Gangan seinen magazine. And by truth, I mean the announcement that Yuji Iwahara will be making a new Darker than Black manga, named Darker than Black: Shikkoku no Hana (Jet Black Flower). Yuji Iwahara is the man who designed the characters in the original anime, which should keep everything looking the same. This will also be an entirely new story, and not a rehash from the anime.

Awhile ago, we heard rumors of a Darker than Black second season, and now we hear about a new manga with a new story. Coincidence? I don’t think so. The first part of the rumor came true, with Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, so I would suspect the second part to be true as well. It’s just a matter of time my friends.
