Bye bye Jun Planning: company files for bankruptcy photo

I don't know how many of you pay attention to the companies that make figures and character goods but one of them is in a serious bind. Jun Planning actually had a company in the US, in which you'll probably recognize the Death Note and Zero no Tsukaima figures that they released. While Jun Planning did make several figures, they are more known for making dolls, such as the sad Sebastian above.

The company started backed in the 1980s to make and release plushes and figures of various anime characters, as well as animals. However, on April 30th, Jun Planning stopped their operations and filed for bankruptcy. At the same time, they closed down their American operations. The company has fallen into a serious debt -- 3.2 billion yen to be exact. A good amount of their products are still online but there's no word about what they're planning to do with what's available already. If you're curious to see what products they have, you can see a list of them over at HLJ.
