  You're judging everything by the anime. If you're watching the anime of a shonen series over it's original manga source, then you are doing it WRONG, especially when you are trying to claim that the series should be "over". I haven't kept up with Naruto since early '09, but I just looked it up and it seems the anime hasn't hit an excruciatingly crucial point in the plot that turns everything upside down. Also, a shone anime is going to be a shonen anime. What I mean by this is, there are going to be a hell of a lot of filler episodes that aren't canon and have absolutely nothing to do with the original story. Again, I can not stress this point enough. Do not claim a series should be over without reading the original source material. This is especially true for a shonen series.
  
  I know I might be coming off as a Narutard, but you just can not judge a series based on the anime. If anything, the anime should only be watched for a shonen series to watch the battles played out in animation. If any discussion were to be held on the series, it should be based on the knowledge given through the manga. And I can not stress it enough that I am not a Narutard, as I do not disagree that it should be over, and I personally believe it should have been over quite a while ago, but for completely different reasons. If anything, I am just a simple lover of manga.
