  I saw D9 at midnight Thurs/Fri. Saw Ponyo 14 hours later at 2pm. No I did not sleep in the theatre.

  Also, I wonder if this is sort of like a prequel.
  
  It has all the characters from episodes 5-6. The girl with the red hair is full grown in the first season.
  
  Just speculation. Not sure. Don't feel like looking it up. I just remember Hei talks about the past a lot to her in the first season.
  
  From what I remember, she's supposed to be pretty powerful.

  I also don't see the Bebop connection. It's more like Fullmetal Alchemist/X-Men with a hint of Ghost in the Shell.
  
  It's cool that the second season is about to air. I just started watching Season 1 through Funimation on demand.
  
  Honestly, the makes is a lot less confusing with the dub. I didn't really understand what was going on the first time I watched in back in '07. The first season is good. It's slow. And it feels incomplete at the end. It definitely merits a second season, which is at our doorstep now.
  
  Also, I don't think I like Hei with long hair...

  You guys are over reacting. This is ridiculous. Watch the movie before you start moaning and groaning over this.
  
  This remix is found in the second half of the credit sequence. The first half has the original music. Honestly, Frankie Jonas and Noah Cyrus sound awesome in the dubbed version. Especially Frankie because he doesn't sound like a man (like Hiroki Doi in the original).
  
  The remix pops in the second half when the scenery sort of changes. I went into the theatre biased against it, but guess what, the remix fits. It does not sound out of place like I was expecting it too.
  
  The movie is fantastic. I loved the dub. I loved dub of the song. I really don't care for the remix. Don't really get it, but whatever. Kids don't really watch credits anyway so most that watch this movie probably won't hear it. If they had completely replaced it, then I'd be pissed with you guys, but they didn't.
  
  Why should Disney even care about what any of you think if you're going to get all pissy and boycott the movie. They aren't getting your money, so they don't, and shouldn't, care for your concerns.
  
  Sorry to lash out. No offense meant to anyone. But the person that made that video should do his homework. Also, the video felt very engrishy. Just me.
  
  Please, support Miyazaki. Disney is never going to stop making money. Being a martyr isn't going to help anime and Japanese film in the US.

  Even though it isn't my favorite show of the year, it definitely should earn all the AOTYs from anyone anywhere giving out awards.
  
  It was an excellent show. A few things in it led me to pick another show over it from this year, but to anime watchers everywhere, I'd definitely recommend it.
  
  It's my #5 favorite anime of all time.
  
  I like it more that Death Note.
