I think I threw up in my mouth a little.
Not at the video, the music.
The music rapes my childhood.

@Xelotath - If I didn't have as gigantic a doujinshi complex as I did, I would be the same way, it's as big a problem as gay people have, just with alot less support than gay people have to rely on.

@Mistypearl - Not at all, any wisdom I can share is yours for the taking.
@Colette - Thank you, I'll be sure to try and continue it for as long as I can.

Talking with people is generally hard. I'm really only comfortable with talking to people I've known since grade school. Women just harbor a bigger difficulty since I'm not on friendly terms with too many women to begin with.
As for my fear, to be honest, it mostly stems from my lack in the social graces, that knowing lack of finesse turns into insecurity, and that insecurity turns into weakness, the desire to not muck everything up turns into a fear, which ends up mucking everything up anyway.
It's kind of pathetic really.

Lonely I think is a result of the lifestyle, however I would say being cynical is something that comes naturally, so yes, I would say we're cynical by nature.
I think what it comes down to is how far you're willing to fall before you finally draw the line, for most hikkikomori I know, the 3D world holds so little value, that going outside is just a waste of time to them. For others, it's a fear factor, some are genuinely scared of the outside world, and live in a constant state of ostrich syndrome, choosing to hide away in a world where they don't have to deal with the constant pressures of a live, chaotic enviroment.
The reasons are really quite varied.
- On Check out the Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 launch trailer, because ninjas and breasts are always relevant at 09/11 5:09pm
Ryu is such a pimp, he really is.
But Ayane's English voice actor still sucks.
Loved the comic book type opening though.

Also creepy.

- On Maids vs. Butlers: The eternal battle at 09/03 2:53pm
Wait. Wait. Someone has serious misconceptions about maids.
A maid may often be confused for a simple house servant, but the maid is something much more.
Let's look at the maid mentality, a dedicated young girl, sometimes clumsy, but always doing their best to meet the expectations of their masters.
They're pure, kind, and soft. Not like those cold, sinister butlers.
I would take a kind, sweet, innocent, pure maid any day over a pathetic, slimy, two-faced butler.
Hayate from Hayate no Gotoku is an exception because he can trap into a maid.
Also, we can't remember. Kamen no Maid Guy.
- On Fuji TV celebrates Disaster Prevention Day by showing how gaijin don't know nothin' 'bout earthquakes at 09/02 10:41pm
Born in California, raised with the ground a-shakin, I'm plenty used to Earthquakes, but even so, preparation is always important. Knowing simple things like not to stand near shelves or windows and where to stand if the building is in danger could save your life from an accident in even a small earthquake.
