Hello everyone! I am Erik, the Master Otaku of my school. I don't really leave my home all that much, so I am always watching anime, playing games, or just ordering things online. I don't really care what type of anime I am watching as long as it is good. So, shonen, shojo, yuri, yaoi, etc. Is alright to me as long as the story is good to me. And I am a boy.

  @Miraito: My experiences with fansubs are different. Upscaled DVDs always look better than the supposed HD fansub releases. Like with Kannagi, the DVD was crystal clear when I used my PS3, but when I played it with a fansub version to compare, the fansub had a more washed out and blurry look. Though, I would still prefer Blu-Ray like you do.

  @gwjunkie I would have loved to have some Miyazaki fans at least at my school. The only ones I know of are online, my mom, and my best friend.

  @Reibooi I have the same problem with the Naruto fans at my school. Most of the "anime fans" at my school love Naruto, and that is all. BUt they take it to the extreme by dressing liek the characters in everyday life, having the Yaoi fanart of Naruto and Sasuke, trying to talk in Japanese, and just all around being annoying. They are the reason I quit watching Naruto a while ago.

  I will check out the dub online and if it is good too me, I will just get Blu-Ray. Though, my experiences so far regarding anime with Blu-Ray are good, most shows I have look close to the same on DVD when upscaled.

  I didn't expect much. Will Smith may be one of my Favorite actors, but the past anime to Hollywood movies have left me wanting to avoid most if not all.
