That probably the smartest move. I remember commenting somewhere on the site once that it'd be nice if the show was divided into a multi-release set with the complete E8 on one disc so people could ignore it if they wanted, but that was a pie-in-the-sky hope.

After the whole Endless Eight debacle, I just let the whole rest of the second Haruhi season pass by without seeing any of it. Was the rest of the show worth it?

I may pick up the series at some point, if Bandai decides to release a whole-series boxset with all the episodes from both seasons slotted into their proper chronological order, but aside from that, not really sure. It's like, I liked the first Haruhi series for what it is, but if you run the episodes in chronological order, the series has no actual climax (though episode 6 made a damn fine broadcast-run climax). I may wait for the Vanishment of Haruhi movie before making any calls about the franchise as it stands.

This only supports my theory that the entire second season was a scheme to start trouble and now the American chapter is in on it too. I don't know what else to say.

Oh lawd, that guy was really bad at acting and his mic was shit. But I was surprised by the voices which were actually quite good. I don't watch dubs but this seems like this one will turn out really well.

Christina Vee is really quite awesome. She's got a great voice.

YES! So happy about this news. 'not singles' is a great confirmation. It makes sense these days, but you never know what these companies are going to throw at us these days.

The only thing that could make me even happier would be the next announcement confirming a blu-ray release.

What makes this hilarious is how it was released in Japan: 8 DVD's with random episodes that you had to collect out of a claw machine or pay like $80 for ONE.

I haven't watched the video, but I do have to admit that the header image is one of the smartest ads I've ever seen. A popular character advertising a product with a picture of her using it on the label? How meta!

In hindsight...now I think about it... I liked the Lost-like mindf**kery that Endless Eight entailed. But still. 8 episodes.... *shudder*
