Did you enjoy the newest episode of Eureka Seven: AO? Yeah, I thought so. Look on the bright side, though: you don't have to see it again for a whole, entire month!

This series has taken a few breaks before, but none nearly as long as this upcoming one for the final two episodes (specifically, episodes 23 and 24). Now, I have no idea if BONES' were overwhelmed by the Olympics last month or if they've always been behind schedule with this show, but to me this just shows how completely unprepared they were with this series. I was on the fence on whether the writing was simply terrible and had no where to go, or if the creators were struggling each week to make a cohesive story and meet deadlines, but I'll take this news as confirmation for the latter. There's just something completely rushed and desperate about how this anime turned out that messes up the flow of the whole show, and throwing in this break makes me worried about how truly sloppy things are going behind the scenes.

Regardless, I'd just like to let fans of the show know that they shouldn't take the next month of absence as a cancellation. Think of it as more time to catch up other anime... like the original Eureka Seven.

Eureka Seven: AO should be back on the air in November, either on the 18th or 25th.
