Wow....what's funny is all the girls made into guys look very bishie...

Gendou scared me, Fuyutski was funny, Misato looked like a very masculine girl....she still looked female but her badass factor multiplied by 6.

As for Shinji, it's amusing how he looked almost the same, though at the last moment he sorta looked like Mana from GOS.

Shinji and Misato looked good as a woman and a man. Gendo, however, is going to give me nightmares.

You know what this means? Shinji and Kaworu would be lesbians! It's not closet Yaoi anymore!

What's interesting is how this would have changed the story line. Not much you say? Nonsense! If there's anything we know about anime, is that girl piloting giant robots kick 2000 times more ass then the guys (see Gunbuster, for example). Therefore, girl-Shinji wouldn't have ever worried about "running away" - it would have been "Fuck you, Gendou-Mom! I'm going to totally trash the angels, then I'm coming back to kick your ass!"

For some reason, this vaguely reminds me of a joke fan-fiction someone wrote up for a "trailer" of Evangelion Flash!, which took the same characters and made up a good old "giant robots? Kick ass, dad!", including Shinji with a katana and Rei being a gunslinger.

Yes, it was all in jest.

I find this very funny.
