Oh man, just WATCH the search engine hits roll in from that post title. *cackles*
Anyhow, remember all the awesome new Fist of the North Star media announcements I showed you folks last week? Well, Japan's number one (and arguably only) mainstream gaming magazine, Famitsu, has jumped on the FotNS festivities bandwagon. Famitsu, which recently reached a landmark 1000 issues, published their most recent rag with a cover drawn by legendary FotNS artist Tetsuo Hara... a rendition of Kenshiro with a decidedly furry bent. It's actually a parody image of Famitsu's fox mascot, Necky, who appears on many of their covers. (Eagle-eyed viewers will also note that Necky's cosplaying as Toki in the upper left corner of the cover, too.)
Making this even more amusing is a reciprocal cover drawn by Famitsu cover artist and master airbrusher Susumu Matsushita (who you might know from his design work on the Maximo games and the ADV-licensed-but-unreleased Kiba anime). Comic Bunch, where Tetsuo Hara's current magnum opus Fist of the Blue Sky is ongoing. Matsushita's work has a very cartoony slant to it, as you can see above. Still, both covers look awesome, and surprise collaborations like this are always fun to see. Where else will Kenshiro's testosterone turn up before year's end? We'll just have to see!
