Face the real World Pokemon Masters in Black and White 2Considering Pokémon has always been a game series that I've considered to have a community aspect to, I'm not surprised whatsoever that The Pokémon Company is taking it a step further and creating sprites of the biggest, baddest players in the tournaments and making them available via free DLC (via Nintendo Wi-fi Connection) for the upcoming release of Pokémon Black & White 2 in October. If you download these extras, you'll be able to challenge them in the new game mode Pokémon World Tournament. When you challenge them, they'll be pummeling you with their actual team, items they had available, etc. The actual world championship tournament in question takes place in August (at Hawaii!), and there's more information available right this way if you want to learn more about it. I think this is a great extra for lovers of the Pokémon series of games. We've always been able to trade with friends and even play against them, but considering most of the games have the same basic plot of you wanting to be the Pokémon Master, it's about time some real-world Masters made their way into the games as well. While I may not necessarily be in tune with the real Pokémon World Tournament, it's a fun extra and a welcome touch. Did you know?
