Fascinating: New speakers utilize the power of rubber

4:00 PM on 10.24.2012

Rubber has had many purposes in the past, and now Tokai Rubber Industries Ltd. have figured out a new way to manipulate the stretchy substance. Thanks to the amazing power of technology, Tokai have manage to create the first speaker that creates sound with the power of smart rubber. Unlike normal rubber, smart rubber has a special sensor that allows it to react to electricity.

One of the amazing traits about these new speakers is that they can create bass at a phenomenal level. Besides better bass sounds, the rubber speakers can also create superior low notes. While it has yet to be made for headphones, one can attach the speaker to a chair, which grants users the ability to listen to sounds in an open area. From the looks of it, these new speakers could create a new experience for those that love surround sound.

Depending on Tokai's route in making these rubber speakers available, this might open up a new wave of opportunities for other companies to integrate them into headphones and other devices. And when that day comes, people will get to listen to sounds in a GLORIO new way that could not be accomplished with other devices.

Curry Refills at Coco Ichibanya in Japan

After reading a recent article about getting free refills of curry sauce, I had my doubts. I completely trusted in the news, do not get me wrong, but it seemed too good to be true. There had to be some catch. I mean, seriously, we are talking about getting free curry sauce here. Join me as head into my local Coco Ichibanya in rural Japan and try to ask for a second helping of their fine sauce.
