Fate/stay night[Realta Nua] hitting the Vita on 11/29A recent Newtype leak has revealed that the popular Type Moon visual novel, Fate/stay night, will be hitting Japanese Vita's this year on November 29. As far as I can tell, this is the first time that the game has been brought to a handheld. I imagine Type Moon is looking to capitalize on the success of the recently completed and highly praised Fate/Zero anime. The title seems to imply that this will be a port of the PS2 update, complete with spiffy animated sequences and completely voiced dialogue. Kadokawa Games will be publishing and the asking price is set at 6,300 Yen by the looks of it. The leak also claims the animation is being produced by Ufotable, but that could simply be a mistake. There's no word yet on if the game will see any other enhancements, but I'd love to see updated character art. Considering this is going to be played on Vita's big and beautiful screen, it'd be a shame to just do a raw port. Either way I'm extremely excited for this. As nutty as it may sound, a Vita release for Fate/stay night might very well up its chances for a possible localization. I'm looking at you Aksys. [Image via Pixiv] [via Jin] Did you know?
