As part of our celebration of all things Evangelion today since the film 1.01 has been released, I figured it would be a good time to poke my head into Pixiv, the Japanese DeviantArt, and find some works that caught my eye. After sifting through a number of pages of works, I finally came up with 16 images that really got my heart.

Down after the jump are a list of all the artists, and I figured I'd stick with just those that I could source off of Pixiv, as I already added a wide range of Asuka x Shinji shipping pictures to Danica's post back on Idol Day.

With Evangelion 3.0 and 4.0 still not out yet, it feels like Neon Genesis Evangelion is going to be a show that's just as, if not more, influential for fans than Dragon Ball. Just something to chew on while you enjoy the pretty pictures.
