The Distant Worlds tour is rolling back to the States this month with three more shows. The live symphonic spectacle featuring the music of Nobuo Uematsu from the Final Fantasy video game series will be hitting up Detroit on June 18th, Dallas June 21st and Baltimore June 27th. Oh, and don't forget the Seattle and San Francisco shows next month as well.
These shows will feature a new score than fans have seen so far. For one thing, "The Man with the Machine Gun" has been added. We also just got word that Susan Calloway, who sang "Memoro de la Stono - Distant Worlds" for both the official concert CD and live at the Grand Rapids show, will be back for the Detroit event.
This year is really shaping up to be an exciting one for Final Fantasy and Nobuo Uematsu fans. As if the Distant World shows aren't enough, we've gotten news of the new Nobuo Uematsu album, as well as his return to Final Fantasy composing for Final Fantasy XIV. Sure, we're going to have to wait a while from some of those tantalizing promises to take form, but I think we can all agree it'll be worth the wait.
