Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax

First Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax trailer hits the net

2:40 AM on 10.06.2013 // Elliot Gay

Watch Asuna take on Shana!

If you ever wanted to watch Shakugan no Shana's heroine and Sword Art Online's Asuna go at it in 2D, now's your chance.

Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax is a brand new 2D arcade fighting game featuring characters from Dengeki's long list of light novel properties. As of this writing, the new fighter is currently location testing in Tokyo. The confirmed playable characters are Asuna (Sword Art Online), Shana (Shakugan no Shana), Kirino (Oreimo), Misaka (A Certain Magical Index), Shizuo (Durarara!!), and Kuroyukihime (Accel World). The first trailer has hit the net, which you can view up top.

I'm not very impressed by the animation, but I'm holding out hope that there will be some more Baccano! and Durarara!! characters in the mix. That'd be enough to push me toward learning the game.

It has been confirmed that Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax will be hitting home consoles, with more details to come at a later time.

Who's hyped?
