Kill Me Baby is a terrible show.
...but is it the worst anime ever made? In tonight's feature, I am going to analyze select aspects of this first episode and decipher exactly what makes it so goddamn terrible, and reveal the answer to that question. Which will it be? Stick around and find out!

Taking into account that the main character/assassin Sonya may or may not be a figment of our other protagonists' Yasune's imagination (seriously, if you plan on watching this anime, keep this theory in mind), this show is perhaps the biggest bust so far this season. Ironic or not, the humor falls flat as it teeters the edge of trying to cater to the parody genre and the wacky gag jokes. It's a series of short animated clips containing the "best-of's" from the original 4-koma manga, and it's all terrible.
However, you probably wouldn't even know about this. No matter how "ironic" and "counter-intuitive" it's trying to be, the annoying OP would be enough to turn away those even remotely interested. Pissing the audience right off the back, even under the guise of a joke, is not a great way to start off a show that was already on thin notice already.
WELL THAT'S THE END OF MY ANALYSIS! There's simply not much more to say: we have some clean animation that's pretty cute and junk, and we have a some-what catchy ED that are the only source of vital signs in this show. As lazy as this may seem, I really can't make things more clear than to simply say that Kill Me Baby is unappealing and absolutely not funny. A chuckle or two here and there does not a good series make.
Final Verdict:
