I really couldn't enjoy this one either. I usually always give my full attention when watching stuff but found myself reading blogs while watching this and flipping through channels to see what was on Bravo and the Discovery Channel.
I'll give it a second viewing, but the first pass was way too bland for my taste. Our undead protagonists spend more time posturing than performing any usual function.

If the first episode has bad animation, that's a really bad sign, since most series usually show off some of their best animation in the first episode.
....the first episode was pretty bad i must agree; but i think that it's gonna turn out better soon, since it gets way more exciting in the manga than in the anime.
thats kinda disappointing, you'd think with the title zombie loan it'd have some redeeming value, like constant blowing up of zombies. hopefully it'll prove itself in this way in the future

The opening was, honestly, horrible. However, watching the second episode made up for the first one. At least the animation seemed a whole lot better either that or my eyes were getting used to it. I'm pretty sure that this anime will improve over time. Maybe they'll take a hint and change the opening as well as the ending after a few episodes.

What did you expect from a series titled "ZOMBIE Loan"??? A reference to something associated with blood, gore, guns, and death? Did you expect the theme song to "Happy Catgirl's Fun-Time Quest no Cookies"???
I'd give this one some time. I dont care if the story sort of sucks, maybe it'll redeem itself with blood and gore and action. I've also heard that the manga was pretty good, so, well...
