It's actually kind of impressive how long Production I.G managed to keep footage of Psycho Pass behind closed doors. With the preview screening of the first episode having come and gone, it looks like the curtain has finally been raised as we now have our first trailer for the Gen Urobuchi penned series.

The animation looks solid enough, but what I'm really interested in is the atmosphere and premise. It's been quite some time since we had a serious scifi anime with older characters, so my expectations are high on this one. I'm still not super fond of the main female lead's character design, but I'm slowly getting used to it.

I won't be covering Psycho Pass this fall, but you can bet your butts that I'll be following it every week. Check out the trailer after the break!
