Remember how the first film based on the popular Tiger & Bunny superhero anime is hitting theaters this year in Japan? Yeah? Well so do 18,117 other people here.
Turns out Shochiku is selling advance tickets for the film, due to release in September. In the first two days alone, the film has netted 18,117 ticket sales, which seems like a small number, but is impressive when you consider the movie is still nearly half a year off. Damn.
There aren't many details floating around right now, but we do at least have a name and a date. According to sources, Tiger & Bunny: The Beginning will be making its debut in Japanese theaters on September 22 of this year.
I'll definitely be hitting this up on opening weekend. I do love me some tigers and bunnies.
