I thought it was about time to introduce myself after finding out JAPANATOR HAS FORMUMS? :3

I live about 15 minutes outside of Boston in a city called Lynn. I work as a Data Warehouse Analyst for a uniform services corporation. I don't game much on the weekdays, so the weekends are my opportunity to do most my vidja and Anime since I don't usually have much going on.

Let's see.... I've been watching Anime since I was about 11 or so through a friend of mine. He first introduced me to Doomed Megalopolis and Fist of the North Star, which is probably not a good way to break in but hey, it worked for me lol. Other nerdery includes comics, toys, j-dramas and music from videogames/anime

Around the time when I hit high school, I decided to finally try my hand at drawing. I'm not very original, so all I did was pretty much copy what I saw. I never traced. For instance, In the intro from Gunsmith Cats, there is a part where May is shown opening her coat to reveal a grenade. I always wanted a poster of May, so I pause the VHS and would proceed to draw a poster size drawing of that piece. I stopped my art obsession soon after high school...

Well, that's about it for now. I guess I could share with you some of my drawings haha, I'll post them all up on a gallery so you can see how bad it was! (These are the only images I could find from one of my old cd's. I drew so many other things and it saddens me that they've been lost. )

I finished watching the first episode of Aoi Bungaku. It's pretty interesting and intense with it's imagery. Thanks for turning me on to it!

@Stella - Hell yea, I was a Slayers fan. Mostly because it turned me on to Megumi Hayashibara, who I just adored...and because of :cough: Naga :cough:cough:

@Karen - awww I like your drawings. My imagination was horrid and I could not for the life of me draw anything original and creative ;_;

OMG I was the biggest Megumi Hayashibara fan because back then she voiced EVERYTHING. I bought all her CD's because her singing was always amazing. I loved her songs in Saber Marionette J. Hella old school I still go back to my karaoke place to sing her songs. ;~; memories! Did you like the newest Slayers that came out a couple seasons ago? I couldn't get into it as much as the older Slayers series.

lol I still have some cd's from back in the day. Saber Marionette J & J to X, Slayers Best(Copied favorite songs only, then sold it ;_;) Sorcerer Hunters, and one of her solo albums Enfleurage. Man, those were the days when I was really into jpop and anime themes. They don't seem to hit me like they used to in those times...

Do you remember the mini CD singles that came in a funky small sleeve? I still have those! XD;;; haha oh my god I'm feeling so old when I go back to my roots. I sang all her songs in a karaoke room back in a anime con in 1990. I think I still go back to older anime songs because they were just so good! I think it's because I skip opening themes to just watch anime that I forget I used to sit down and sing along with opening songs.
