Have you cosplayed? Seen any good ones?

I've gone as a Prinny to Otakon for the last two years. The second year made me realize how much I SUCKED, so this year I'm going as Awesome face.

I've been cosplaying for about three years. Recently I cosplayed as the Demi-Fiend from Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne, at Yulecon last year. I'm looking forward to A-Kon. Though I haven't decided yet what costumes to work on >.<

Sango from Inuyasha
Haruhi from SHnY
C.C. from Code Geass, her white outfit and her black outfit from V2
Mion from Higurashi

It's sad that cosplay is so limited by hair color, though. A person can only afford so many wigs. :/

I saw an amazing Yoko cosplay at Anime Expo a few years ago. She looked perfect. And I spent a while stalking some Sweeney Todd cosplayers at NY Comic-con last year. It's so cool when people work hard on their costumes!

Anyway I've never cosplayed although I might if I went to cons. The only characters I would want to go as though are Keiichi from Higurashi or Kenji from 20th Century Boys.

I always feel like a dirty old man when girls cosplay, because some are scantily clad in rags. Then I find out they're 15 and my eyes burn into my skull. Saw this girl cos as Misty, looked just like her with the exception that she had cleavage the size of my head. She turned out to be like 14 and every man was arrested for raping people with their eyes (not really, just mass amounts of shame came over them). :p

I did see a lot of men dressed as Cloud Strife and Kisuke Urahara. Some looked really cool. :D

I've been cosplaying since 1998, I've met some great cosplayers and seen amazing stuff. In all my years it's always amazing to see the crafting of these costumes come together.

lol JK! Ok, for real, we have here when I went to Anime Boston in 2005 and 2006 as Anbu. We stopped doing it when Naruto got insanely popular and it didn't really seem fun anymore lol it was a lazy attempt anyways :P
