Hey there. Uh... I'm terrible at introducing myself, but I'll try my best.
I'm an overworked university student who's way too in love with anime and video games for my own good. I basically discovered Japanator through Destructoid. My interests in anime are basically anything that catch my interest, so they're pretty all over the place.
Specifics? Well, I'm probably missing a lot, but... The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Desert Punk, FLCL, Hellsing Ultimate, Code Geass, Last Exile (I just discovered it, and I really can't believe I missed it for so long), Fullmetal Alchemist, Soul Eater, Ghost in the Shell, Lucky Star, Cardcaptor Sakura, Cowboy Bebop, Black Lagoon, Bakemonogatari and Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei. I'm just listing off the top of my head though.
Besides that, I've always grown up watching anime, but was never really interested in it, until I saw Inuyasha when it first aired, which was the first anime I really watched (there's an important distinction there). I fell in love with it, back when the concept of the Shikon Jewel and the search for all the missing pieces was cool and awesome, when Naraku was the most evil son of a bitch ever, when I could never get enough of Wind Scar or Backlash Slash and everything else. Then I got bored of it after I realized the same thing was happening over and over (I.E Inuyasha and cohorts come across village, discover it's cursed/under attack by demons, Miroku hits on women and gets hit by Sango, they fight demons, discovered Naruku is behind it, Miroku discovers his black hole arm is useless due to the insects, Inuyasha uses Wind Scar with liberal amounts of sexual frustration between Kagome and Inuyasha interspersed and repeat).
And don't kill me, but I've neglected my fair share of anime, most of those I know (or at least hear) are really good and never get around to seeing. I'm especially terrible in that I have never experienced Nodame Cantabile or Kimi ni Todoke. Hell, I haven't even finished Trigun past the first episode (though I have read the first volume of the manga).
I'm also terrible with money management, and often end up carrying home figurines, DVDs, games and manga that I didn't come there in the first place for so I'm almost always low on cash.
