Hi. I'm another Destructoid immigrant. Brad Rice came all up in our solitary anime thread and shouted at us to come post on Japanator, and since I've been meaning to do this for quite some time, his gentle, bearded screams were all the impetus I needed.

I'm a casual observer of anime at best. I've only seen a couple of series completely, though I've dipped into a couple dozen other series out of curiosity. I do not pay for anime, because I am poor, seventeen, and need money for food. However, if I did have the funds, I would buy anime.

Black Lagoon
FLCL
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
Genshiken
Needless
and the, uh, Final Fantasy VII animes. >_>;;

Ah, you've seen Gurren Lagann, good good. Not only are you a better person for that but you are also 100% more manlier!

Anyway welcome to Japanator. Like I said to another new person I recommend seeing a Gundam series, either Gunda 0080: War in the Pocket or Gundam 00 will do. If you want to become 120% more manlier though you should watch G Gundam.

And once again to pimp out my favorite series go read/watch Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (I recommend the manga the most).
