i'm always bad at these kind of things. lets see some of my fav animes are FLCL, great teacher onizuka, trigun,sayonara zetsubou sensei, cowboy bebop just to name a few.

You might also want to look into community blogging. Japanator's forums aren't super lively, because the bigger discussion provoking "articles" that the community produces end up as so called c-blogs.

GTO is probably my favorite comendy show of all time. That includes all anime and even shows like 30 Rock and Friends (all of which I also love). Such amazing characters.
