Hey guys I am new and I am wondering how every thing works on this site
Please reply I have been looking for a good site to settle down in


I have some questions

1. do you guys allow copyrighted material to be posted here?

2. if I agreed to the terms of use saying I wont post anything sexual then why is there a hentai category here?

3. are there alot of members here?

I'm not an official representative of japanator, but here are some answers...

1. Not 100% sure on this one, but I'd imagine copyrighted material can be posted as long as it's fair use (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fair_use). In other words, you can post a naruto screenshot to discuss something that's related to it, but you can't upload & share the entire episode.

2. Is there a hentai category? I had no idea >.<

3. I like to think that Japanator has a colorful community of individuals, not a grey mass of strangers. It's not that overwhelming and it's relatively easy to join the community.

There are alot of different tastes and interests that intersect on this site. Whether like J-Drama, Moe, J-Pop, Gundam, K-ON!, Bleach, Yotsuba&!, the Japanese kitchen or Suzan Boyle... There are probably more than a few likeminded people around.

I'm pretty sure, in no particular order, it's "don't break the law, get along with the dozen or so members running around and discuss hentai in the hentai area."

1. I'm gonna leave that to the staff.

2. There's only ever been one post containing actual hentai in my time on the site and that resulted in mass outrage among the community. So I don't think anything NSWF is welcomed here, despite what the "hentai" tab may imply.
