Hi all,
I have recently acquired the DVD sets for Death Note.
I tend to lean towards watching anime with the English Dub. I stray from this if A, the translation is far off the original (ie. Dragonball) or B, the voice acting is not the greatst (ie. Tenjo Tenge, Rurouni Kenshin).
I can decide for myself for the most part if I like the voice acting, but I really have no way of finding out if the Dub is true to the original script.
Can anybody let me know how close the script of the Dub is for Death Note? I watched the first 5 minutes comparing using the English dub with the subtitles and it seems fine. Does it stray when the episodes get 'controversial'?
