Hi everybody!

I thought that this would be needed!

I am from germany so I don't get all the awesome stuff that you get, so I'd like to know some good mangas. Some stuff that not everybody knows. Some secret tips.

Everybody knows Bleach or Naruto, you don't need to recommend those, just the ones you think nobody knows a lot about. So that if anybody should be bored and on the way to a bookshop they have something worth spending their money for.

From me you get Blame and Lone Wolf and Cub.
Blame because the drawing is awesome and there are not much words and a lot of violence. I love this one because it doesn't explain everything. Until a certain point you have to guess about everything. It is written and drawn by Tsutomu Nihei, he also did Biomega (also awesome and some other stuff). Just for the artwork it is worth buying.

Lone Wolf and Cub is a classic I would say. It is about Kozure Okami who goes to take revenge for his family. It is AWESOME!!!

I apologize, because there is no more explanation, but you have to read those on your own. If you have more, let us hear it!
I am looking forward to some good stuff!

(sorry for any spelling or grammar mistakes, nobody is perfect!)

It all depends on what you're into I guess. If you're into violence, you can't get much better than Gantz or Fist of the North Star, but those are pretty well known. The first violent manga I got into was the adaptation of Battle Royale, so I'd suggest that.

Telepathic Wanderers by Yasutaka Tsutsui is an overall good manga and not that well know, as far as I know, I'd recommend it to anyone looking for something a bit different. The story revolves around Nanase, a telepath, and a few of her adventures. Don't be fooled by this short description though because Telepathic Wanderers is rather dark. Anyone looking for a short manga (4 volumes) with a dark story about a telepath should check it out.

Ghost Talker's Daydream is another one that I don't think is well known. It's a blend of horror, mystery, and erotica. The story revolves around Saiki Misaki, a dominatrix/ghost talker. It may not be the best out there but I enjoy it for what it is and some of Saiki's cases are pretty dark, there's also a good bit of humor thrown in to keep things somewhat lighthearted.

I'm sure most everyone here has heard of Sundome but if you haven't check it out. One of my favorite manga.

the Chrono Crusade manga is great, the anime is alright, but the manga is far better

it was published by ADV though, so I'm not sure if it's hard to find these days

I would also recommend Yotsuba&!, as well as Great Teacher Onizuka and Fullmetal Alchemist. If you don't mind a short series, try Ral Grad (same artist who drew Death Note and Bakuman).
