Fourze, Ultraman Saga, and Strike Freedom join Heroes VS

3:00 PM on 11.29.2012

Did I mention that I am excited to see more Compatible Hero games? Oh, yes I did! Heroes VS's roster was rather small during the last trailer, but the Riders, Ultramen, and Gundams keep on coming. Since Spike Chunsoft is implementing a card system into the game, players will probably get to access other abilities from supporting characters within the three franchises.

To those that are skeptical of card systems, think of it as a similar system to Jump Ultimate Star's support characters, or Marvel vs Capcom 3's assist moves. If the game's roster remains small, then the cards are going to be the main trick that will give players different customizable options in approaching each fight.

With Strike Freedon's appearance in the game, you will now have the opportunity to Rider Kick, or use a signature Ultra move on a Gundam from a certain show that a majority tends to hate. However, I think Fourze's space bro personality and Ultraman Saga's triple Ultramen fusion will make up for his inclusion.

Personally, I think the best part out of Heroes VS is that players will get to make Strike Freedom count up his sins.

Relive your kitbash dreams with Gundam Breaker's trailer

I have to say, Gundam Breaker's core conceit is pretty awesome, and just goes to show how much of a cultural institution Gundam is that its own owners don't bat an eye at acknowledging the fact that most of its hyper self-se...

Gundam Breaker to get a PS3/Vita demo

Namco Bandai's upcoming PS3/Vita action game, Gundam Breaker, is looking pretty damn neat. Rather than just recycle the same Gundam formula for the nth time, the developers are mixing it up a bit. Literally. Instead of actua...
