I would make fun of the way the Japanese obsess over their pets and all the things they do for them (or to them), but since I have the exact same issue, I really can't point a finger. That, and I've watched this corgi video that Dale North sent me about a hundred times. What can I say -- animals are awesome.

Japan Probe posted this video today of a cat who sounds deceptively like a frog when it purrs. According to the video, he can purr normally, but when he gets really blissful he just kind of starts to sound like he's croaking. Of course, the guy looks so happy, it's hard not to laugh at him. I thought my cat's constant talky noises were funny, but they don't really hold a candle to a cat who manages to sound like an amphibian.
