Fullmetal Alchemist food is just too cute to eatFood is pretty great, right? I don't know about you, but I like eating food. But when the food is presented too nicely, I almost feel like a bad person if I eat it and destroy the chef's little creation. That's the problem I have with this special menu at Namco Namja Town in honor of the upcoming movie Fullmetal Alchemist: Milos no Seinaru Hoshi. It's just too damn cute! Everything looks way too good to actually sink my teeth into. There are 23 food and dessert items, each of which look like objects, alchemic symbols, or characters from the popular anime series. Customers will get a free sticker with their meal, as well as have the opportunity to buy an exclusive passport featuring original illustrations once they're done eating. The menu will only be offered at Namco Namja Town and another mini-attraction from June 25 until July 4, so if you're visiting Japan during that time, be sure to drop by! Maybe you can manage to eat what I'd end up just looking at. Visit TokyoHive for up close pictures of all the adorable menu items! Did you know? Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)See I would love to do some culinary work like this but my brain for some reason just doesn't compute that way. Maybe I'm just not thinking hard enough or that I am teetering more on the side of a perfectionist to realize I can do it. 10:00 PM on 05.14.2013 Curry Refills at Coco Ichibanya in JapanAfter reading a recent article about getting free refills of curry sauce, I had my doubts. I completely trusted in the news, do not get me wrong, but it seemed too good to be true. There had to be some catch. I mean, seriously, we are talking about getting free curry sauce here. Join me as head into my local Coco Ichibanya in rural Japan and try to ask for a second helping of their fine sauce.
