Holy crap thanks for the heads up. I got Darker Than Black pre-order, Rin: Daughter of Mnemosyne DVD Complete Series, and Tsubasa, RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE DVD Collected Memories!
Was $174.00 or something like that, but with the coupon I got it down to $147.00 after tax! Rock on! I can't wait for Rin, those trailers are bad ass!

OH MY GOD YES THIS WILL MAKE THE CHALLENGE OF NOT STREAMING/DOWNLOADING PIRATING ANIME SO MUCH EASIER.
If you 'scuse me, I've got to order up Soul Eater, Baccano!, Darker Than Black and Gunslinger Girl DVDs.

I just bought Baccano!, Claymore Blu-ray Complete Series, Gungrave, Mushi-shi, as well as Spice and Wolf. Original price was $208, with the Funi 40% off and my RightStuf Memeber Card it came out to $174.46. I'd say that's pretty good.
I get RS's newsletter so I've been sitting on an order for a bit now and finally pulled the trigger on Monday. I ordered a *few* things... :)
Bamboo Blade sets 1 and 2, Spice and Wolf, Daughters of Mnemsyne and El Cazador sets 1 and 2. There were some other non Funi things on that list as well so I am about broke now but that's okay because I gots more Anime comin' !!! :D

Definitely going to buy Claymore blu-ray. It's cheaper with the sale than it is on amazon. Really I'm only interested in blu-ray and I don't see much else that interests me. Baccano is a definite contender for my money but no blu-ray hurts me.
Anybody got any blu-ray suggestions other than claymore?

Every time a sale,especially anime sale happens in America and it involves great discounting,my Malaysian heart crumbles more and more........
I picked up Eva 1.11, Gunslinger Girl Il Teatrino Blu-ray (was cheaper than the DVD collection) , and Tokyo Majin Season 1 Part 1.
Not to be a downer, but is anyone at least comparing the prices with DVDPriceSearch.com before buying? It looks like you can get most of this stuff for about the same elsewhere. Forty percent off MSRP really isn't all that much of a sale. You're really only saving maybe $2 per item compared to the going rate for most of these on Deep Discount, and they don't charge for shipping.
Last two discs of FMA , Eva 1.11, complete Desert punk, and Slayers seasons(individually it is cheaper) for me!
The Tsubasa Chronicle Collected Memories boxset is a gem, a real deal. W/ the discount, it'll be 52 episodes plus 2 movies (and also specials) = $75. Just getting this out for any fan out there.
@Japan Girl
I don't bother shopping anywhere else besides RightStuf (and Best Buy) simply because I trust them. I've had my information stolen from other sites and I don't want that to happen again so I stick with what I know. Besides you get free shipping with RightStuf after you spend around $60 or $70. Honestly if I'm going to splurge on anime or manga I always end up spending that anyway.

Was about to order Eva 1.11, but it's actually cheaper with Amazon even with the 40% off at Right Stuf, thanks to shipping.
@ Setre
I've boughten from Deep Discount and Best Buy and other sites plenty of times with no problems. And I've boughten from Right Stuf too. They do have good sales, just that this isn't one of them. Why would I pay $75 for the Tsubasa Chronicles boxset on "sale" when I can get it for $62 at Deep Discount or Amazon on any other day. Not saying Right Stuf isn't a great site, just that the 40% off sales are misleading because other sites already charge about the same or less.

@Japan Girl & lt.pvan
Their standard "Your Price" listings on the site don't have the 40% discount applied, those are just the everyday RS prices. That Tsubasa Chronicles boxset is $60 after the promo code.
It's a little confusing, yes, but I don't know how you didn't parse out that 40% off of the $100 retail price doesn't work out to be $75.

@Bacon5200
I admittedly didn't double check Rightstuf's price for it myself and assumed the person who wrote it above knew what they were talking about.
[sarcasm] Oh wow, you save the $2 dollars you would have spent otherwise getting it on Deep Discount. That's so totally worth the sale. [/sarcasm]
That's my point though. Most of this stuff is the same or slightly less than it is elsewhere. So unless you're really that hard pressed to save $2-$5 on your purchase, it's really more worth your time and money to wait for a better sale.

So if something undercuts the lowest price elsewhere, it's irrelevant unless it's a drastic difference? The cheapest price is the cheapest price, and those savings definitely stack up if you're ordering multiple titles.
"Yeah but it's not lower than some theoretical better sale that may or may not happen at some indeterminate time in the future!"
Well, ya spends your money and ya takes your chances. Everything could theoretically be cheaper down the line. In fact, it probably will be. So is the correct solution to never buy anything?

They're not "theoretical" sales. Rightstuf periodically has their 25 DVDs/$100 sale, and twice a year Deep Discount takes an extra 25% off the discount price, so that $62 boxset could be had for $46.50 if you're willing to wait a little bit for it. Just a few weeks ago Best Buy sold off a bunch of Media Blasters titles at a huge discount. I managed to get Berserk, Midori Days, and Giant Robo for less than $40 altogether. There's always going to be more sales. All it takes is a little shopping around and a willingness to be patient.
But hey, it's your money. I can't stop you from spending it how you want. Just trying to inform people that they might not be getting as good of a deal as they think they are.

Amazing, the internet can even turn a sale into a point of contention.
A sale's a sale. Cheaper is better, no matter how big or small the discount.

@BGFUSAB
That may be fine for you, but I'd prefer to shop around then take a blind gamble on something just because it's on sale, especially if that sale price happens to be comparable to the standard price elsewhere.
